Frequently Asked Questions – Road Bikes (FAQ)
Prices vary by model and rental duration – you’ll find the current daily rates directly on the relevant bike’s page.
Carbon road bikes are lighter and absorb road vibrations better, which can make longer rides more comfortable. Aluminium road bikes are more robust and usually the more affordable option. We offer both materials – which suits you best depends on your preferences and how you plan to use the bike.
A road bike can work well for beginners too, as long as you’re comfortable adjusting to the sportier, forward-leaning riding position. If you prefer a more upright, comfortable posture, our touring bikes or e-bikes might suit you better. If you’re unsure, just ask us on-site – we’re happy to advise.
Our road bikes come in frame sizes XS to XXL. Let us know your height (or preferred frame size) in your booking request so we can set the bike up for you in advance.
Road bikes are built for speed and longer, sportier rides: narrow tyres, low weight and a forward-leaning riding position for maximum efficiency. If you’re after more everyday comfort or need to carry luggage, our touring bikes or e-bikes might be a better fit.
